I assume you mean you want to add it to the quick launch bar next to the
start menu?

1/Click Start button
2/From start menu click All programs
3/In all programs click Accessories
4/In accessories click Calculator and hold down the left mouse button
5/Now drag the calculator all the way down to then quick launch bar and then
release the mouse button
6/The calculator icon should now appear in the quick launch toolbar
