Hi, This is my first time at posting anything so I hope I do it right. It
seems that since yesterday after I loaded my new canon printer drivers that
now no matter where I go on-line or off, my calculator keeps popping up and
it's very annoying. Is there anyway for me to stop this?
Thanks

Scarlet,

It is always good to post the details of the machine on which you are having
a problem. Assuming it's XP (since you posted it in this area) but not
knowing if it's SP2, fully-updated, etc., my first suggestion would be to use
system restore and restore to a point before the Cannon printer was
installed. (Again, knowing which Cannon printer would be helpful here.) If
the calculator returns to its normal working mode (i.e. doesn't pop-up) then
one could assume there is some conflict with the Cannon software and we can
start looking from there. On the other hand, if the problem with the
calculator persists, there are some viruses which will cause the calculator
to pop-up. Is your virus protection up-to-date? And, have you run a full
scan lately?

Hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for answering my question. My OS is XP Home Edition and I did
download the SP2. I just completed a full scan and saw some files I didn't
recognize. I cleaned them and so far the calculator hasn't popped up on its
own. Hopefully it was a low virus that is now cleaned. I don't understand
because I have my McAfee on all the time. Thanks for your advice.
