Hi Richard,

Go to Start - Run and paste the following command and press enter.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories

Right click in the Accessories folder and select New - Create Shortcut.
In the Browse box paste the following command and press enter.

%SystemRoot%\system32\calc.exe

Then name it Calculator and press enter.

Try clicking start, then control panel, add/remove programs, and select
Add/Remove Windows components. scroll down to find accessories (you may have
to look around a little...depends on whether you have Win 98 or XP etc, you
may also need to highlight folders and click on details), and see if the
calculator is there. If so, make sure there is a check mark by it to select
it. Hope this helps!

In Richard Climenhaga had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
he calculator does not show up under acessories on win xp home edition

What happens if you do this:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type "calc" (without the quotes)
Press enter

Does that work? It should as there's protection for calc.exe (Windows File
Protection) that prevents it from being deleted normally.
