Can anyone help me; I need to do a calculation to add a constraint, to a
database field, if a person is living outside a 2-kilometre radios of a

What's the nature of the field? Do you have each person's latitude and
longitude, and do you have latitudes and longitudes for each
newsagent?

And do you mean 2-km as the crow flies, or as the road meanders?
