Calculating total duration for 10+ entries.

I have been creating Vehicle Mileage Log to calculate our driver total
mileage and total driving hours in a two week period. I have been able to
calculate the mileage and duration from start time to end time, however I am
now having difficulty calculating their total hours for that two week period
since the totals exceeds the 24 hour period. I have been using the short
time format. Would it be possible and/easier to covert my total to a number
format? Please Help!! Please forgive me if these are stupid questions (I'm
fairly new to calculations in databases)
 
your duration should be a number. The TIME format is to record a set point
in time. If you subtract two times, your result should be a number. Those
numbers could then be totalled.

I have changed my format to numbers and have been able to get my total. This
might sound silly but how can I get that decimal number (e.g. 0.57) to give
me the total hours in a whole number (e.g. 15, 27 etc). Thanks for your help!
