Calculating Age from Birthdate

Is there a function available that calculates today's age
from a birthdate? If so, what is it? If not, can
someone tell me how to create a spreadsheet where I can
calculate current age from being given a birthdate?

Suppose the birth date is in column A

Age=FLOOR((NOW()-A1)/365.24,1)

This should be close enough for government work. The FLOOR could be
omitted if you will accept the age as a decimal number.
