Calculated field retruns #NAME? error

This may be a stupid question, but is the other form open
at the time? If it is not, you would more than likely get
this error. Just a thought.

I'll try that. There are two other fields in the Assets
form that make "calls" to other forms. This fields seem to
pull in the right information whether they are open or not.

I'm using the Asset Tracking template in Access 2002. for
some reason, whoever wrote this template didn't have the
Current Value in the Assets form field populated by the
Depreciation Basis field in the Depreciation form.
I used the Expression builder to try to populate this
field. I opened the builder, opened All Forms, and entered
into the box the expression
=Forms!Depreciation![Depr. Basis]
To make sure I didn't mistype, I used thePaste button. Now
when I open the Assets form, I get the error #Name? in the
Current Value field. What am I missing?
