Cached pages question

In IE 6, under the Check for newer versions of stored pages, what is the
difference between Automatically and Every visit to the page?
It seems the same to me. Is there somewhere on Micorosoft's site that
documents the differences?
 
Use the context sensitive help [?] to see the subtle differences,
though I usually have to read both a few times myself.
