We have a number of machines with intermittent browsing
faults. After accessing some pages, the internet cache
drops to zero and cannot be altered. Page download is
then effectively impossible.

The only similiarity is that all machines are running
latest version of IE6. Other than that, they're
different machines, different websites.

Anyone else seen this? It's not just business employees
it's affecting but some home users have mentioned the
problem to me also.

Rob,
I know of 2 MSKB articles:
195163 - Cannot Change Temporary Internet Files Cache Size:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;195163
301897 - You Cannot Change the Temporary Internet File Folder or the Cache
Size: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301897
Those both cover Win9x.
You probably know, but, to delete History, TIF, etc in XP or 2K see:
How To Delete the Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Yes, I have. The latest IE updates is acting really strange, it is nearly
worthless.

Thanks for the info Don.
The only systems I am seeing this happen on is Windows XP
Professional however.
