Cache of 'sent' email addresses

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2002 for email and Word 2002
to compose emails. When typing in a 'To' or 'CC' address,
autocomplete suggests all past INCORRECT email addresses
that I have inadvertently sent to in the past, which is
very annoying. How do I delete the offending addresses or
clear the cache?

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
