Is there a limit on the number of items held in cache for Outlook?
Is there a duration they are held for (like web addressing in IE)?

Would you like to clue the rest of us in on what you mean by "held in
cache?" Did you imagine you had created a clear question?

Hi Ben
Thanks for your reply, it is most helpful. Ben, is there a setting to limit
the duration that these are held. I know that with Internet Explorer that
that you can control the browsing history and not sure if Outlook has a
similar function.

Hi Russ
Apologies if my wording was not clear, I did mean auto suggest as Ben
politely figured out. I am sure you did not mean to be totally rude, but you
were.

Expecting others to spend time helping you without having the courtesy to
provide the information they need is not rude?
BTW, that limit is now 2000.

There is no setting for that. They'll be held forever unless pushed out by a
more recent one because you already have 2,000 (the current limit).
