Hello.

Well as the topic say when i have the Cache function on in outlook 2003 it's
sorting wrong in the address bok when i type in a name to a user i want to
mail?
Anyone know a fix or solution to this? Its working fine when i turn off the
cache function though and thats not an option.

To make an example:
when i try to search for a name that begins with öåä then autoamtic it
goes to the last position in the global address book like x or z. Thats the
problem it must be a bugg in outlook2003 because its workning fine without
the cache function.

Any tips and info is greatly appreciated.

It is not clear what you mean by "cache function."
If you mean autocompletion, it does not use your Contact data. It uses a
list derived from messages you have previously sent. --

Hello.

Thanks for the response its not the autocompletion i mean. When you make a
new mail mapi account in outlook 2003 you can enable "cache exchange mode"
its when you have that enabled its sorting wrong?

No. We confirmed it directly with the Outlook developers after we discovered
the problem.
I haven't had time to check if there's a KB on it yet. You're welcome to
search for one.

Ok this is a bug in outlook2003 then.... Is it reported as a bug so we can
se a solution in a sp or hotfix? If not do you know how to report this to
Microsoft.
