I just typed a long message to a forum, clicked Continue and my message was
gone. A problem occurred. Is that message retrievable? If so, where is it
located on my computer? Or does it not even exist anymore? It stresses me to
no end to have to type the same BS over. And can I even remember what I
typed? Thanks.

Is it on the forum ?

No, it didn't go through and my message was gone when I back spaced. This
has happened numerous times to me and it gets irritating after typing a
long message and then losing it after submission to some forum. I thought it
might be in the cache somewhere on my computer. Doesn't matter now.

Copy your message to a text editor file before you post to the forum.

If a problem occurs, you can copy the message from the text file and repost.

Since it has happened numerous times, then you should have learned
your lesson and found a different method of inputing your long posts.

The simplest solution would be to create your post in a text editor
first, then copy and paste to the forum when it's done.
