Cable and Dial-Up ICS Problem

I have cable and dial-up working separately (but not at the
same time) with XP Pro. When on cable, while visiting a web
site that has a fill in screen soliciting info (such as
Morningstar.com), the dial-up window for my dial-up
provider pops-up. It can be cancelled, but I can't find a
way to prevent this. It doesn't matter if the dial-up
modem is on or off while surfing with the cable modem. ICS
(Internet Connection Sharing) is disabled. This problem
appeared after installing Service Pack 1. Any idea how to
prevent this annoying problem? Thanks

In Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options | Connections and
configure it to never dial a connection.

When you want to dial, do it manually.

Steve,
Thanks for the reply. I had already tried the "never dial"
option...problem continues.
