cabextract 1.0 - Extracts files from Microsoft cabinet archives.

About:
cabextract will extract the contents of Microsoft cabinet archives. It also
supports cabinets embedded in executables and multi-part cabinets. It
fully supports all cabinet compression methods, including MSZIP, Quantum,
and LZX decompression.

Changes:
The CAB decompression routines have been refactored into a reusable,
portable library: libmspack. These routines are now significantly more
robust and have been tested on more than three gigabytes of CAB files. The
cabextract program now tells you it cannot extract InstallShield CAB
files. You can explicitly select which files to extract and which cabinets
to extract from. The package includes special support for Windows CE
install CABs.

A salute! to you again Gordon. Not sure how I missed this one
although. Hopefully it beats my current use of dosemu and a rather
old dos based cab extraction utility. The text here implies that it
does.
