Hi,

I have bought a new computer, and copied my Outlook files from my previous
hard drive. All the e-mail came across fine.

The Contacts came across and show when I click on "Contacts"; but, when
I'm sending e-mails and click on the "to" button, by contacts do not show.

Can anyone help with fixing this link problem?

Hi Laura Power,

right click on the "unseen" conatcts > properties > Outlook Adressbook > and
than enable the option
Show these folder as E-Mail Adressbook

Hi,

This did not work!

Here is the response I get:
"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions. For informatin on how to remove
this folder form the Outlook Address Book, see Micorsoft Outlook Help."

Have I got the Outlook file in the wrong place? When I click on Contacts, I
see my contacts. When I transferred the Outlook file from the old hard disk,
the e-mail's came across fine. I see all the old e-mails and e-mail
sub-folders.

Any ideas??

HI Laura Power,
okay i know your error, please try this
Start Outlook
Tools > Email Accounts > view or change existing directories or address
books > next > outlook address book > remove
Add > Additional Adress Books > next > outlook adress book > next > ok >
finish
Restart Outlook and after that confirm my first post.
