CA Certificate

According to this article,
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/SSL_Enabling_OWA_2003.html

I should have been able to create a CA certificate. No matter what
I've done it didn't work. Well, yes the certificate is running in
local mode, but from the outside it "This pagge cannot be displayed -
Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer" Although all DNS records have been created.

In addition, the DNS for this domain server is outside the office, but
from that server a DNS record has been added to redirect the DNS
request to the local server (and it worked for HTTP but not HTTPS)

any idea?

thank you

Thomas

Try to connect using the actual IP address of your website instead of name
as in https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/MyOWA. Also be sure that it is configured to
use the right IP address either external network adapter or that the
firewall is configured to port forward to it correctly and that the firewall
is allowing access. If it works on the internal network then it probably is
a connectivity configuration issue for those attempting external
ccess. --- Steve

Thank you Steven,

Right after having posted the question I found the answer, but I would
have found the answer here from you because it was in fact as you
suggested the firewall. I didn't think... I didn't open the port
443!

Thank you

Thomas
