Hi, I have a CX3200 scanner/printer and I just bought a B & Color
cartdrige.. It was about 55£ so I figgured I should try to find a way to
refill these things. I can build any circut so I am wondering if anyone can
tell me how (or give me a good link) to reset the chips on these. (I dont
want to buy something over the net as I would rather build my own).

Also when it comes to refilling the ink, Is it best to just drill a small
hole in the top of the unit? or is there a way I can make it refill from the
bottom.

Based on many years of experience, I would suggest you go and purchase
original ink cartridges for your printer. The use of refills in most
printers, especially epson and HP inkjet printers will actually shorten
the life of your printhead in your printer. The ink used by refill
manufacturers does not meet the same grade as the original ink and will
tend to dry out in your epson printhead. Once this happens you might as
well throw the printer out and go an purchase a new machine. So if you
value your printer at all, use original inks not refills.

Yea.. that was kinda my point..
7-8 months of refills cost more than a new printer.. so I dont really value
the printer that much

I am refilling since 7 years. I had cloggings, but most during
summertime, when the air is dry and I do not work so much with the
printer. And clogging is not real a problem, if you know the cure.

Refillig has a lot of advantages. I never are forced to go to a shop and
only see that the cartridge i need is not in stock. Just today I looked
at "real" Epson cartridges. Black= 23 Euros/ 26 US $ pcs.
Ridicule!
