How can i change c: \documents and settings\my name instead of my wifes name in my user acct.

Ron, the folder name and account name match when the account is created. If
you rename your user later, the "friendly" name changes but the name of the
folder in Documents and Settings will remain the same. If you want the
friendly name and folder names to match, create a new account for yourself.
Then transfer your files over to it.
