I keep getting this error message while browsing and my mcafee keeps cleaning it. I did a virus scan and it got rid of some last night but Im still getting these pop ups. I did another scan this am and no virus found. This is crazy! Mcafee had an article on downloading some .dat files and getting rid of it but too confusing. Any easy tips?

Your problem is malware or spyware, not a virus. For some free anti-spy ans
anti-malware, go to http://www.computercops.org/downloads.html

If you're getting pop-up ads then you definitely have some kind of spyware
or malware. There are different programs, each is better in some areas than
others.

So you might try some of the other anti-spyware in addition to what you
already have. If all else fails, you might download Hijack This and post
the results on the computercops forum.

You perhaps need to turn on the firewall within XP. Go to the connection
used to connect to the internet right click it go to the advanced tab and
select the firewall.
That should stop the popup ads.
