C:\ turned into video folder

Reading the the KB article, it says its not possible for C:\ and other system
folders to become customized but mine seems to have been (you can tell by the
video tasks when u open it with my computer, the faint video icon in the
bottom right and when you make it arranged by details, it shows dimensions
and duration as column) this is the first problem and i think i have a second
problem related to this, when i try and open Program Files in C:\ there is a
significant delay (~30sec) before it will open, if i type C:\Program Files\
into the address bar it loads instantly, i am not quite sure why but i am
guessing that it has something to do with windows process buffering something
since explorer.exe CPU usage spikes when i click on the folder
