Are you a new C# Programmer or not?

The book I use is C# For Experienced Programmers
from the Deitel Developer Series. Its a great reference and tutorial It
also comes with code samples both in writing and available for download.
Its really a great book Check it out.

Why not go with the Microsoft press versions of C#.net step by step and the
core reference?

Personally, I cannot stand Deitel books. They are cram packed with
repeated, unnecessary code and are virtually impossible to use as a good
reference, imho.
I would highly recommend starting with microsoft press and or wrox. My
third choice would be something by O'reilly. In a last ditch effort, I
would consider a Sam's teach yourself book, but as I said earlier, I would
steer far clear of the Deitel books.

I found "C# For Experienced Programmers" to be a bit
wordy! And it didn't really seem like it was for experienced
programmers at all - It starts right from the beginning! And I
mean the VERY beginning.

I agree the Deitel books are just churned out - if MS comes out with Db next
week a Deitel book will be out in three days with a rehash of the C# book.
