Is it possible to go to a c: prompt in Windows XP? If so how do you get there?
Thanks
.
Start - All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt

Hi

Start>Run - then type in 'cmd' without the quotes - or Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt.

If you want to go straight to a 'C:\' prompt instead of Documents and Settings...:

Programs>Accessories - right click on the 'Command Prompt' icon and select Properties, change the 'Start in' box to C:\

Right, or you could go to the Start\Run box and type in either:
"COMMAND" (which is 16-bit environment); or
"CMD" (which is 32-bit environment)
