I noticed i have two Iexplore.exe in my computer. one is from
"support.com", the other is from MS.

Anybody know what "support.com" is??
IS this a virus?

Thanks!

It is a program that is used to help some companies such as Comcast, or banks like Bank of America, with their support software for their products. They may require IE to be used with their software/sites. So for those who don't use the IE Explorer provided by MS. They provide a copy of it in their Support.com program folder.

Go to www.support.com there is a list of companies that use their services with the company's software

WSL,
You should be able to uninstall the program by going to Control Panel> Add?Remove Programs. You may want to go back to the company's website in the near future, and get a new version of the program and reinstall it, if so desire.

It might be listed as Support.com in Add/Remove, but it might be listed as a Fix/Support program. I believe the program name used by Comcast, is called ComcastAgent. So that will be the program you need to remove. Once that is done, you then can delete/remove the following folder and its contents, if it stills exists.

C:\Program Files\Support.com
