When upgrading from 98 when the computer restarts the first time I get an error saying that c: drive is corrupt and can not install XP. I can then reboot and go back to 98 with no problems. Tried this twice and the same thing both times. I also ran scandisk and defraged but didn't help

corrupt is somthing that is kind of unknown reason y it happens. but anyway i recommend backing up all of your information you need onto a CD,DVD,ZIP disk or something like that then format C. (i hate it when i have to say that)
