C.D Drive and Floppy

I am only new at this but i am trying to save some
assignments to floppy disk or rewritable c.d and are
unable how can i fix this on of many problems

You need to tell us exactly what steps you are taking to do this, and what
error messages you get (if any) when you do.
 
we need more details, but..

Is the file you are saving small enough to fit on the floppy
If it's too big, you need to go to C
Is the floppy formatted
If not, format it
Is the floppy marked as "read only"? (little plastic tab on the floppy
Move the plastic tab to the other side and re=tr

CD is more complex
When you copy things to the CD drive on CP, it actually copies them to the hard disk first and shows the icons greyed out
You need to select "Write to CD" to actually put them on the C

If you have other CD writing software installed, it may override this default behavior and require you to use it to write the data to the C
