My brother bought Command & Conquer Deluxe pack a few months ago, so he also has the Zero Hour expantion set with it, all is installed on comp and works fine, but when I try to install the Zero Hour 1.04 patch it comes up with "Insufficient storage space to Apply patch - you need at least 160945856 bytes free"

I have over 120Gb free on the C: drive so why won't it patch?

Attached is the screen I get when trying to apply it

I'm not good at hard disks but:

-Did you ever format it OR delete lots of files (since files deleted stay in your hard disk but are invisible)
-Your hard disk space maybe reserved by something (paging perhaps, which is using hard disk memory as RAM)

No System32 @ delete lots of files

The paging file is only set @ 768Mb and the system Restore is set @ 7% which is about 11000Mb on my hard disk, this still leaves roughly 108Gb free on the Hard disk for anything I like

I did once already add a patch for the game but was for the first part of the game before they released the expansion, I think it was Patch 1.07 from an older Windows XP magazine disc, but surely Patch 1.04 for Zero Hour expansion would be more up to date than the the other patch as the expantion set was released after the first part of the game obviously

I've given up on it now anyway

Thanks for the reply

Rob

I had the same problem, just copy the patch file onto the 'C' drive and run from there, it must calculate the amount of space on the drive it is on instead of the destination drive.

6 year old revival y0! Gotta be a record on pc review?

Nah not even close, spammers often revive some much older ones. Just they usually get nuked before most users see them. :)

Infact, i'll close this one as its clearly served its purpose. ;)
