I haven't seen any book that fit this description besides the specification
_The C# Programming Language_ (which appears online too), which isn't
exactly accessible writing. I just read Palmer's _C# Programmers
Reference_, but I don't recommend it for this purpose, because besides the
errors and many misleading statements, it can only get the reader up to
intermediate level.
Have you perused the "C# Class Design Handbook" per chance?
