Its a long shot

I have a GTX285 needs repairing

I think previous owner has clocked it a little too much
Anyway two of the inductors have gone kaput. Does anyone have any old cards (completely busted) with Inductors R10 on them by any chance?

:)

taaa

Tried RS, Farnell and a few others. None of them want to know

Either not in stock or the little amount I need ain't good enough for an order

Maplins are shite. Over priced and too commercial now

15, 20 years ago maybe

Yep, understocked and overpriced. In '84 they were a serious components supplier, nowadays they're just a toy shop.

Still handy though if you need something basic in a hurry and don't mind paying over the odds.

I'm currently dismantling two 100 volt line amplifiers and a Marantz CD player, 12 huge heat sinks up for grabs. What's the value of the inductors you need TXD? II'll keep an eye out.

Oh, also taking apart a Bosch battery charger board for heatsinks and stuff. Memo: Never buy a Bosch rack-mounting battery charger, they are el crapola.

Maplins are ok with their budget whitebox products and are easily accessible.
But anything above that & you can get it cheaper online or even in pcworld.
And yes these days they do look like a toy shop, but got my mums metal detector their.
Of which she's very happy with!!!!:D
