BuzzSaw and Dirms

A while ago, these defragging software packages were highly praised in this
NG.
Up to now I have been using "Diskeeper Professional".
When I defragged my C drive [dirms c -q], it took about 30 minutes until the
process ended. After that I wanted to see in Diskeeper's "Drive Map" how
well the defragmentation succeeded. There were still many files cluttered
all over the HD, and it took awhile to redefrag with Diskeeper.

I guess I must have made a mistake!
Could one of you defragment gurus tell me the exact command line string to
defrag without compacting, and moving the files to the front of the HD?

Also:
Does Buzzsaw work in the "same way" as Dirms? I know that Buzzsaw works on
the fly while the computer is inactive. If it doesn't eat up to much memory,
this option would be ideal.

Any hint is appreciated.

Thanks,
Murgi

This isn't an answer but another question. I'm about to use dirms for
the first time and I'd like to know the best comand line for defragging.

Hi Murgi,

I have Buzzsaw running at all time (24/7). It works fine with my Fat32
harddisks (two disks á 160 GB and a lot of partitions). Even though
I have just a 1 Ghz processor on this machine it doesn't even seem
to eat up any resources.
After using a lot of other defrag-progs (even the very expensive kind)
I think this one is a good choice.
HTH.
