buzzing noise

I have a Deskstar 40GB drive and am hearing a high pitch buzzing noise
every once in a while. This noise only lasts about a second then goes
away and the drive works fine. Anyone know what this is?

There's a bee trapped inside the sealed enclosure.

yep, thats what it sounds like. a bee on crystal meth...

I've got an IBM 60Gb drive that makes a sound like that.
Periodically makes this brief buzzy/hummy sound. I assumed it was the heads
recalibrating in some way and replaced the disk. Odd sounds like that make
me uneasy.
