I need some professional input on a project. Where else to go but the real
pros here at XP newsgroup, where I knopw a couple have this info in their
head.
I need to get 32 computers for a networking class, and 33 computers for a
programming class. They will have to last probably 4 years what kind og
technolkogy would i be needing and what would it cost, like 64-bit maybe
with dual CPU's, what kind of memory general stats with prices.
How about flat screen monitor as opposed to regular? Just need the hardware
the software will be supplied. Could I buy 63 good quality computers for
under $75,000.00?
I know that this isn't the usual post, but thought you might be bored, and
if i figure right a couple of you have the future OF/S and prices and stats
in their heads.
Thanks Bruce

Why don't you send a letter to computer manufacturers stating your requirements and ask for a bid?

| When things get tough & seem to go uphill,
| Quit and let someone else do it!
| Life's too short for that shit!

Any computer will 'last' for four years.. whether it will run the latest OS
is another ball park altogether.. as you have already been advised, try to
get a deal on 63 reasonable machines..

Good luck
