Are you the same person listed as a contact person for this company?

The second one seems to live in the same country you do (China) so it is
probably better for you to buy from that person. If you purchase it,
please report back to this newsgroup as to how effective it is.

I do not like doing business on ebay. Notwithstanding that, you are
better off using Canon ink.

I've done well on ebay, have 100% feedback both in selling and buying, and
have never been ripped off. It does help to do business with those who have
100% feedback also. I just bought a $3000 Professional rackmounted TBC off
ebay for $22. Also in the past have purchased Pro AG7500a and AG-7310 S-VHS
decks, a rack mount, all for under $300 total.

You must limit what your limits are on what you are willing to pay, you should
know what you are bidding on inside and out, you should also know whether you
are knowledgeable in fixing what is described as broken on some as-is items
etc...

Sounds like the same advice my grandfather gave me when he took me to
farm auctions as a boy, long before Ebay or the Internet. I still use a
tractor he bought at one over forty five years ago. Some advice is
timeless...

Exactly. You gotta know what an item is worth to you. To some, paying more
than an item is worth in value monetarily is worth it to someone like me who
needed badly that item that is no longer made but is the right part required
to fix my car stereo system etc....

That comment about your tractor hit home. My uncle bought a tractor for like
$300 from some old farmer once, he tore the thing to the ground and repainted
that puppy by hand. He still uses that tractor and its probably running better
than it ever did new. Its a 1940's era tractor, this isnt his but its the
same year and model

He even had coach Jerry Sloan from the Utah Jazz basketball team offer to buy
it from him. He has a huge tractor collection back east on his ranch.

This is the Franklin Mint replica of my grandfather's tractor, the Case
SC. The one he bought was a '52. The replica is VERY accurate, right
down to the trademarked Eagle Hitch. Match that with a two-bottom
mounted plow and it'll work when today's tractors just spin their wheels.

Was it sort of red. Maybe a Raymond Massey?

Nope, not a Massey. They're good tractors, though. We had one here one
summer that belonged to one of my cousins. Not much power for its size,
but very maneuverable.

Thanks for asking. Best laugh I've had all day.

TJ

I GOT that. My reply was simply playing the same game he was by
suggesting he buy it from himself, but ONLY because he lives in "the
same country" the seller does... China. I was indirectly suggesting
that people who don't live in China (the majority of the buyers) may NOT
want to buy from the second source.

I was also fishing for a self-review of the product to see how it would
be portrayed, and if any details about it might be revealed.

Sometimes I'm just too subtle.

Now you know why I try to help people to keep their older inkjet
printers going... Some of them were the tractors of their day, and
should be rebuilt and repainted to live another day rather than end up
in the landfill.

Did it come with tiny farmers and cows, and a little, little can of
gasoline? ;-)

You could have a farm on your desk with that thing.

"Thanks for asking. Best laugh I've had all day."

You need a vacation!
Raymond Massey (actor)/ Massey Ferguson (farm equipment)

This man is never funny...only pathetic.

That's the kind of response he was expecting me to give. You'll notice
he didn't get it from me, so he shut up.

Oh, reverse psychology...I thought that only works on people of
average intellect?
