buy win xp pro vs win xp pro with sp2

hey everyone. new to the forum environment. i want to buy windows xp
professional edition. what is the dfference between buying that, and
downloading the service pack 2 (free) and buying the windows xp professional
sp2 edition? it costs more in the comparisons i have found so for. thanks.
 
If you have that option, buy the cheaper since you wind up with the same
thing. WATCH OUT who you buy a barebones XP Prof from since that version has
not been produced in several years. In other words, buy only from a reliable
retailer.
