Buttons of the open windows d'n't appear on taskbar

Hi,
Since this morning I encounter a double problem on WinXPproSP1:
- The buttons of the open windows do not appear on the taskbar,
- it has become impossible ti reduce the sapparent size of the Quicklaunch
bar unless I open another toolbar.
This problem might be correlated to the fact that I have downloaded and
installed the langage bar yesterday (btw this bar has disappeared since then
from the list of the useable toolbars).
This seems a small problem, but this makes very difficult to work on more
than one file.
Thank you in advance for your help.
 
I have solved my problem by using the "system restoration".
