button click vent not firing on single cick

hi all,

I have a registration form in my website.on the tex changed event im checking from the database whethe the username entered by the user is exixting in the database or not. but text changed event is firing only if i use tab or i focus on any othr control but if change something in the text box and directly click on the button only text change even is firing buttn click event is not firing.for that i want to clik the button.hope i was clear in explaining the problem

can you post some code?

without it is almost impossible to know what is wrong
