Business contacts list does not appear

I am having two similar problems when I am working with Accounts.

The first issue is when I am viewing an Account and try to add/link it to a
Primary Contact. When I click on the icon to open the box to Select
Contacts, none of my business contacts appear in the list. Even when I type
in the first few letter of the name nothing shows. It is completely empty.

A similar problem occurs when I try to add a business contact to an Account
in the Business Contact section in the middle of the Account view screen.
When I click Add/Select Contact the business contacts menu is again blank.

I have updated to the most recent SPs but the problem still occurs.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

A strange one !!!!.Can you try creating a new database and adding some dummy
contact and see if the issue occurs.Also try clearing the cache this might
help
