Hi, I am comparing ACT with the new Outlook Contact Manager. I have the 30 day trial software. I am in real estate and need to print out individual client reports with dates and histories. Is this possible right from Business conact mgr. or do I have to go through other office programs? How does it work?
Also, I can see that the calendar has been improved to put at least a subject/date directly into individual accounts but I cannot get an individual account to print a customer oriented report or even include the notes/history section. Is this because I have the trail version
I have all my clients in Outlook 2002...will I be able to import them as Business Accounts? I have about 800 active customers.

I have been a long time ACT user and have been trying
BCM. BCM is nice, but I have found ACT to be a heck of
allot easier. With BCM, you can do reports within BCM.
If your an Outlook 2002 user, your better off to move to
2003 with BCM. BCM is a decent basic CRM package.

If you're running the trial version, you should try out the Reports options
on the BCM menu.

If you want to customize your data information, or add new
fields for your specific needs, you can not do it in BCM.
ACT is the best program for client data customization.

Is there any way to customize the ACT! contact screen when you double
click on a contact? I would like to add fields in that view but can't
figure out if it's possible. I know I can add fields in other views.

I also understand that there's now a pocket PC interface for ACT! and
Outlook 2002-2003.
