Chrishe,
Having read your post and realizing that, for a while, I had the Beta version of Office 2010 installed (I?m back to my original license of Office 2003 now), and having tried everyting everybody has suggested without ressults; I am confronted with the possibility of formating.
I have purchased an Office 2007 Small Business license which I have not installed yet. I don't know if I should format or try installing the 2007 license without formatting and see if I'm lucky.
My precise problem is that I get the "Business Contact Manager For Outlook Could Not Complete your Last Action or Actions" and then the form for the contact or account or note does not inicialize. Then I get a second message stating: "Contact Manager was Unable to initialize this form" This message has a cumulative fashion on a particular contact or form. It repeats as many times as I try to open a particular form in BCM.
All my contacts are there, but I can't initialize the form, therefore con not see any of them.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry you are having trouble
This can be caused by the SQL not correctly installed, or the SQL
service not running
1. Go to Services.msc and verify that "SQL SERVER (MSSMLBIZ)" is
running
2. Also, use eventvwr to look for bad things
3. Finally, did you EVER have beta software on this machine? If so,
recommend a format and re-install. Things get left behind
Hope this helps

Ok - I am also running into this issue with BCM after a clean install of
OFFICE 2007 with small business accounting and BCM. I have called my contacts
at Microsoft and have been given the runaround. I am trying to sell this
software to customers but how can I justify the sale of a new product when I
can???t get it to operate properly from the start. As soon as I switch folders
or go to contacts or any other place in outlook, get the message "BUSINESS
CONTACT MANAGER FOR OUTOOK COULD NOT COMPLETE YOUR LAST ACTION OR ACTIONS.
PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
I am running the full version software, not any beta. Any ideas

My solution for error message "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not
complete your last action or actions. Please try again."
Check if Outlook has not disabled the Business Contact Manager files - go to
"Help" - "Disabled Items" and check the list.... in my case it was there and
it was a simple matter of "Enable" and it was running fine again
Good Luck
Best regards
Anja
I'm having exactly the same error messages.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I'm getting the same error
exactly when Dvuser does below. (switching between folders) My
configurations is as follows:
-SBS 2003 with Exchange
-SQL Database for BCM resides on the server
-5 users share the database through Outlook 2007 w/BCM on their workstations
-All workstations have the same patch level but only two of them are
experiencing this problem
Also, sometimes a user will update BCM but others do not see it right away.
Does BCM only poll the database every so often? If so how can I reduce this
interval?
Thanks,

Do the two users experiencing the problem have password protected
PSTs?
With shared databases, I've noticed updates on one machine sometimes
showing up on another machine within a second. It may depend on what
you are doing. The changes may show up immediately in folder views but
not in forms opened before the change.
I have also encountered the same problem as Dvuser.
I have also encountered the same problem as Dvuser. I am running Outlook 2007
with Business Contect Manager under Vista Utlimate. The program has been
runnig OK since I installed it a couple of months ago but when I went to
swithch to BCM folder I get the error message which repeats a dozen times or
more then stop but nothing is displayed. My business contacts are displayed
so the file BCM file is open. I checked my update history and note SQL Server
2005 Express Edition Service Pack 2 was applied a copule of days ago. I
suspect that this is where the problem is as I have made no other changes.
Not sure how to proceed?

Fixed !!
Fixed !!
Here's what fixed it for me and hopefully it will help someone else out there.
My issues seem to be related to some corrupt registry keys under my user
account.
The fix:
run reg edit: Start->Run->regedit
Go under the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" folder
Then go under "Software"
Then right click on the "Microsoft" folder and export it to some file as a
backup.
After making a backup we deleted the following two folder under the
"Microsoft" category.
"BusinessSolutions eCRM"
"Office"
Then logged off of the machine and logged back in.
After this I was able to launch Outlook 2007 and BCM and I did not get any
of the crazy behaviors I was experiencing.
Hope this can help someone else out there..
Regards,
Jim

Thats the ticket...I have been beating my head all day with the same
issue and searching the net for answers.
The program (as a number of new releases) are quite flaky....I am
hoping MS releases a SVC Pack for Visat soon....it too has its issues.
Thanks for the fix!!!!
