business contact manager loosing accounts & contacts

I just started using Business Contact Manager. One of my major accounts is a
company which I had set up with 4 contacts.
All of a sudden the company disappeared along with all contact.
So question is: If a accidentially delete an account, will that also delete
all the contact.
I know I did not delete the account, much less the 4 matching contact. But
something has to be wrong. I certainly know that I did not delete company and
contact?
Anyone notice disappearing accounts?
 
Are they in the deleted items folder? BCM has its own deleted items folder.

PS - When you delete a contact, all items associated with it are deleted
too.
