Business Contact Manager language problem

This is the first time in 24 years that I experience that language versions
can't cooperate:

I've got XP Home, Dutch version, I have Office 2003 Dutch version. Initially
I installed English version of BCM, all worked fine and I started working
with it.

Now I found a Dutch version of same and installed it i/o UK version.

Problem: the new dutch version is unable to read the database file with my
contacts.

IOW: lost my contacts , should I now uninstall the Dutch version, reinstall
the English version, transfer my BCM contacts and data to regular part of
Outlook and uninstall again and reinstall dutch or:

Is there a way around this and what version should I install on my other
computer which carries Win XP Pro UK version with a Dutch version of
Outlook. Is the language relevant to the outlook version or to the operating
system language?

Thanks,
Martin

ps I do think this is the first major mess by Microsoft in this field, never
did I experience language causing a problem.

Hi,
The problem here is with the language version of MSDE. Please use
Import-Export to solve this issue as mentioned below:

1. Uninstall BCM (Dutch) and install BCM (English)
2. Link to your existing BCM (English) Database
3. Export all the data to a '.bcm' file format using File --> Import and
Export --> Business Contact Manager for Outlook...
4. Now uninstall BCM (English) and install BCM (Dutch)
5. You can import all your data from the .bcm file using File --> Import and
Export --> Business Contact Manager for Outlook...
