Can anyone help, i have tried all the suggestions on this forum and nothing
has worked. When trying to install Business Contact Manager i keep getting
this error - BCM failed to install because the wizard was interrupted.

Thanks

Richard

I am not sure what you have tried to this point. I would recommend
responding to the original thread to avoid any repeat suggestions.

First make sure you have updated to SP1 if possible.

then,

System services that may prevent registry key removal should first be
stopped:
- Start->Run->services.msc
- Stop the following services if they are running:
"Windows Management Instrumentation"
"MSSQL$MICROSOFTBCM"

- Method #1
===================

- Backup and delete the following registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\8DA36566B736F704CB7A20331A8619BA

- Browse to and backup the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\Component Set

- Delete the following string value (right-hand panel):
"InstanceComponentSet.#"
Where # is a number (likely '1')
Where the value of this key is "{66563AD8-637B-407F-BCA7-0233A16891AB}"

- The above value is for BCM version 1.0.
- If a key with the above value cannot be found, you can determine the
appropriate
"InstanceComponentSet.#" key by browsing to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MICROSOFTBCM
- The value of the "ProductCode" sub-key should match the value of
"InstanceComponentSet.#":

- BCM should now install properly.

- Method #2
===================

- If Method #1 does not work, back up and delete the following keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\8DA36566B736F704CB7A20331A8619BA
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server
Setup.{########-####-####-####-############}

- Reinstall BCM
