I am running Vista Ultimate with Outlook 2007 when I try to start Outlook it
stops responding and has to be shutdown with Task Manager. I then get a
message saying, "Outlook has experienced a serious problem..." it then
disables BCM and Outlook starts properly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled
BCM but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Ensure that Outlook/Office and BCM are the same release; is one is at
Service Pack 1, so should the other be. Just a guess.

Luther,

They are both the same releases.

I'm having a similar problem. But when i do anything in outlook BCM, view an
annount, move to the contacts list, update user defined fields, the programs
takes a while to respond and sometimes just freezes so i need to kill the
process. any ideas why this happens. i'm thinking about unintstalling outlook
and starting from scratch. My database is shared on my server. I'm working on
a brand new Vista machine with all updates installed.

I've Uninstalled and started from scratch. I've even done a complete restore
since this is a new computer straight from the manufacturer. Let me know if
you get anywhere since the manufacturer says contact Microsoft and Microsoft
says contact the manufacturer.
