Business Contact Manager Email Display As field

OK, I understand that BCM does not allow me to change the form to add the
Email Display As field like I can in the regular Contacts database. I can
add that field to the View, so I can see what BCM will use for the display as
field, but I can't go into the actual contact and change it.

Does any one have any clues or suggestions about how to actually change
(edit) the "display as" content? I have some contacts entered as "Mr. X Y Z,
PH.D. MBA, Esq." for the contact name, and the display name for emails shows
something like "Ph.D Mr. X MBA YZ". I most certainly would like to change
that. I've tried changing the "file as" field, but it doesn't help. I've
gone into "Address Book", and tried to edit from there, but it takes me right
back to the BCM fields - and of course "Display As" isn't there.

Anyone?

Thanks.

The creation of the DisplayAs field is probably done by Outlook when a
new contact is saved. I have no idea why BCM won't let you save a new
value; it's likely something peculiar about that Outlook form control
given that the other fields support editting.

You could try updating the DisplayAs field directly in the database.
