Business contact manager alarms not triggering

Reminders/flags I set in Business Contact Manager are not
triggering. I know that in Outlook, contacts need to be
in the main contact folder to trigger, but this should
not be the case with BCM. Any thoughts?

It is indeed the case throughout Outlook. Reminders fire only for items in
default folders.
