Burning to DVD..?

Does anyone know of Movie Maker will eventually have the ability to burn to
DVD as opposed to CD? I am using Sony's Vegas Movie Studio and Architect
products to make DVD's, but I'm still new to these applications and the
learning curve is steap. I would say that they're not user friendly,
although I'm sure very powerful once mastered.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!

Microsoft seems to avoid working with DVD (IE: You can't drag and drop to
DVD in Windows Explorer) so I am not so sure we'll see this ability in WMM
anytime soon. Plus once that was done everybody would want WMM to be able to
create DVD menus and then you would have a full DVD authoring program and
everybody would still want it for free. :-)
I am not familiar with the 2 DVD authoring programs you have, I'll have to
check them out, but I have a list of some of the most popular ones on my
website in the "DVD Programs" section.

Some of them also have a high learning curve but some of them are relatively
simple to learn. All of them on my site with the exception of Nero Vision
Express have free trial downloads so you can check them out before buying
anything. I think you will find a couple that you like and can learn how to
use quickly.

Thanks for the response! I just bought Ulead Video Studio 9. It seems easy
to use and has the functionality that works for me. I have checked out some
that have a lot more control and functionality, but they were overkill for my
purposes, plus difficult to learn, at least for me.

Thanks again!

VS9 is a good choice.
The only reason I haven't put that one on my website is that it is only a
shadow of the other Ulead products that are listed. But your right it is
easier to use and suits the purposes for a lot of people.
