I am a DVD burner newcomer. I have been trying to burn my WMM slideshow to a
DVD using Nero.

Exactly how should my file be saved to operate in my player? I tried saving
it as DV-AVI and it still doesn't work. I am using DVD-R's.

Thanks for any help.

I went to the site below, however, this does not give me specific information
pertaining to Nero. I have saved my slideshow as DV-AVI and burned it. I
read on one of the threads that you then have to convert this file to MPEG-2.
How do you do that in Nero?

Any tips?

Thanks

Check out this one http://www.marcpeters.co.uk/free-dvd-creation.html. I'm
using a 30 days free trial version of TMPGenc to convert to MPEG-2 and
demultiplex the streams. It did that in one go. After that you run IfoEdit
authoring your DVD files . Burn therse files to the DVD and that's that.

Thanks for your help Hal. Your tip was very helpful. I performed all of the
tasks listed at this site, burned another DVD (6th try) and my player still
reads "No Disc". I am using Memorex DVD-R's. I know a Verbatim Digital Movie
DVD-R will play. Is it possible that it's the dvd not being recognized? I
went through bbMPEG, TMPGenc and Ifoedit steps. All seemed to work o.k. I'm
totally lost at this point.
