Can I burn the ISO files downloaded from Microsoft onto a CD-R instead of
DVD-R?
The problem is - I don't have a DVD burner. Some of my friends have it but,
yunno, I don't really wanna bug them off to help me.

If it is possible to burn the disc image onto DR-R, it would require like...
4 CD-Rs, isn't it?

You should be able to circumvent the No DVD burner problem by using an
extractor like magiciso.com. I tried it out and I was able to access the ISO
file and initiate the install.

Brand new DVDRW writers will do everything you could want, and only cost
around 25 dollars. Try checking newegg.com

I bought one for vista and find myself using it all the time now for
backups, etc.
