Help! I want to know a good site to buy songs from and what program to use to
burn the purchased songs to cd? My son swears it can be done. All I found is
the way to listen to PC like a radio whoopie. Suggestions please Thanks

Do you have Windows XP? If so, download Windows Media Player 10 (the new
version--it's free but only works on XP). You will get a selection of "music
stores", including MSN Music, Napster, MusicMatch (I think)---about 10 in
all as I recall. You can buy songs from any of these. Windows Media Player
has built-in CD burning, so you can make an audio (or data) CD of anything
you buy online (or rip yourself). You can also use iTunes if you want to go
that way, but you will still need Windows XP for iTunes (or else you need an
Apple computer--which from this group I am assuming you don't have).
Personally, I use Napster. They are big, easy, and you can buy "track cards"
all over the place, even at gas stations. This is like a song "gift
certificate" you can redeem at Napster.
