Trying to burn music Cd to Blank CD-R. Can not figure out how to do it. Computer illiterate. Need step by step instructions

It would help the readers of this post just a little if you stated what application you
trying to use to burn CDs. Like Easy CD Creator, Nero, WMP, Jukebox, etc
